Outpatient and Inpatient Labratory Services
Highlands Regional Medical Center's Laboratory Department is the only lab in a three county area to have CAP and AABB certifications. 
Under the direct supervision of a physician medical director, Dr. George Leidel, our Laboratory offers an extensive list of both inpatient and outpatients labs. Some of these labs include, but are not limited to: CBC, Iron and Ferritin, Cancer (Prostate and Breast), Diabetes, Heart Disease and Hypertension, Thyroid, Prothrombin Time and INR, Enzymes, Minerals (Calcium and Phosphorus), Blood Fats, Electrolytes, and Urinalysis.
